Edit user group

Here is where you define all the rights of different user groups. Only the administrator's rights can't be modified. For all other user groups it is possible to do so under Administration > General > User groups. You have the possibility to set the different rights in each user group individually to "No access", "Read" or to "Write". With the many configuration options, you can thus perfectly map the hierarchy of your company.  Writing permissions can be assigned not only "globally", but also limited to one's own department or subordinate employees.

You can assign these user groups to your employees in the base data. An employee can be assigned to more than one group. In this case, the group with the "highest" right counts for the employee. So if a right in one of the groups is set to "Write", he has writing rights. If you want to give only one or a few employees additional special rights, you can, for example, create a new user group with only these special rights and assign them to the corresponding employees. Existing user groups can also simply be copied.

Depending on the user group, you can also specify a time period in which the working times are automatically approved. To do this, enter the period in the respective user group and activate automatic approval under Administration > Time tracking > General.
